The word validator checks against the ENABLE word list, which is the foundation of both NWL (North American Scrabble) and the Words with Friends dictionary. It covers over 170,000 words and excludes proper nouns, abbreviations, and hyphenated words — just like official Scrabble rules.

Point values shown are base tile values only. Your actual score depends on board position — double letter squares, triple word squares, and bingo bonuses can multiply these numbers significantly.
